Sheeting in scaffolding<\/a> refers to the protective covering or material used to encase a scaffolding structure. This is done primarily for environmental protection and containment \u2013 to shield the construction site from weather conditions such as wind, rain, and snow, and to prevent dust, debris, and other materials from escaping the site and impacting the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n

Sheeting can be made from different materials, but one of the most effective is shrink wrap<\/a>, like the Verisafe product offered by Solicom. This is a heavy-duty, heat-shrinkable polyethylene material designed specifically for scaffolding applications. Once applied and heated, it shrinks to form a tight-fitting, windproof, and waterproof barrier around the scaffolding.<\/p>\n
